Sound healing

Each track carries a binaural beat, a slightly different frequency in each ear, with the difference perceived rather than played. On speakers the two channels mix in the air and only the drone remains.

How these were made

Every tone here is computed rather than recorded. There is no sample library and no generative model behind them, which means Awakenest owns the audio outright and can give it away without conditions.

The roots follow the Cosmic Octave, which shifts planetary and orbital periods up into the range we can hear. The heart track sits at 136.10 Hz, the Earth's yearly orbit, better known as the Om frequency and the most widely used tuning in sound healing. Therapeutic singing bowls are sold tuned to this same system, so if you play one, it will sit in tune with these recordings.

Each track opens a few hertz above its target and settles onto it over the first eight minutes, so the beat guides you down rather than dropping you somewhere. Every layer drifts on its own slow cycle, none of them lining up with the others, so the texture never loops back to where it started.
